1975, Delhi (India), during the General Assembly of B-XC1876 - International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), when it took the initiative (almost revolutionary at the time) to turn to concerted research by creating its own Centre of Coordination of Research (CCR). Original title: Centre for Coordination of Research of the International Federation of Catholic Universities – Centre de coordination de la recherche de la Fédération Internationale des Universités Catholiques – Centro Coordinador de la Investigación de la Federación Internacional de Universidades Católicas. Statutes drawn up by IFCU Council, Feb 1980, Seattle WA (USA). Previously located in Rome (Italy); Jan 1995, moved to IFCU general secretariat in Paris (France).
Promote joint inter-institutional initiatives among IFCU affiliated universities and various stakeholders in the fields of research and training, and consultancy and foresight.
