The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

1976. Merged with World Organization of Volcano Observatories (WOVO) to form Micronutrient Forum, 2006.

Aims

Direct efforts to eradicate public health problems of iron deficiency and other nutritionally preventable anemias through a working relationship with bilateral and multilateral agencies.

Sponsors international meetings and scientific reviews and convenes task forces to analyse issues related to etiology, treatment, and prevention of nutritional policy and action programs. Organizes special sessions at other relevant international and national events. INACG network provides consultative services and advice to operating and donor agencies seeking to reduce nutritional anemia and its accompanying adverse physiological and behavioral consequences.
