Founded following approval, 1997, of General Council of R-XR1670 - Order of Preachers (Dominicans), to function as a permanent presence at U-XE1127 - United Nations Commission on Human Rights, currently E-XM1098 - United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC).
Witness to the Gospel message, especially focusing on the challenge of justice and peace; contribute to the ongoing discourse on social justice and human rights violations worldwide; provide an international forum for members of the Dominican family in these fields to advocate on behalf of victims of human rights violations; work with NGOs working within the United Nations.
