1982, in the framework of E-XE0409 - Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations (CONGO). Also referred to as NGO Committee on the Status of Women, Vienna.
Facilitate the activities of NGOs represented at the UN in Vienna with special focus on issues relating to gender equality and the status of women; act as a forum for exchange of information and views on matters of common interest; facilitate liaison with UN Women and initiate discussions leading to statements submitted to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
