World Emunah Religious Zionist Women's Organization
1977, Israel. The original organization, set up 1948, USA, was called Hapoel Hamizrachi Women's Organization and, subsequently, Women's Organization of Hapoel Hamizrachi. Has also been referred to as World Religious Women's Zionist Organization. All founding members of the World organization either changed their former names to Emunah or added Emunah to their names.
Encourage, motivate and assist member organizations abroad in their endeavours to raise funds for EMUNAH projects in Israel; strengthen through the commitment to Israel in communities abroad and reinforce the Jewish identity of the family through the teaching of Jewish values and traditions.
