12 May 1989, Madrid (Spain), as Bureau de coordination de l'action des douze pays de la CE en matière de sécurité publique, by the Ministers of H-XF2023 - Trevi Group, on recommendations of E-XE7976 - European Council, 1988, Rhodes (Greece). Also referred to as Rhodes Group of Coordinators. Ceased to exist.
Aims
Focus on recommendations for compensatory measures against internal security and immigration problems that would result from the removal of border controls; act as an honest broker between Trevi and the European Union and try to coordinate the work of other relevant bodies.
