History
4 May 1977, Brussels (Belgium), as European Group of Valuers of Fixed Assets (TEGOVOFA). Also referred to in French as Association européenne des experts en évaluation immobilière. 1997, merged with U-XE2176 - European Property Valuers (EUROVAL) to form D-XD5968 - European Group of Valuers' Associations (TEGOVA).
Aims
Represent to the European Commission, European Parliament and other organizations within the EC/EU the united views of property valuers on any matters which concern the valuation for financial statements or any matters associated thereto; recommend property valuation standard and procedures for adoption throughout EC; give guidance to property valuers on EC law.
