Founded 23 Feb 1905, Chicago IL (USA), as National Association of Rotary Clubs. In 1912 became International Association of Rotary Clubs. Present name adopted 1922. Incorporated in the State of Illinois (USA), 30 Jan 1911.
As an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Main objective is service - in the community, in the workplace and throughout the world.
