Aims
Ensure that OHNs are competent and fully equipped to contribute to the health, safety and wellbeing of the EU's working populations; encourage OHNs to carry out research in areas of practice, education and management and to publish the results; establish links between occupational health and safety practitioners in the different countries so they can support each other, share ideas and best practices in order to provide cost effective, quality health care for all EU workers; engage in dialogue and support the main EU organizations responsible for health and safety as well as nursing authorities; ensure that the OHNs' role in workplace health care is recognized by governments, employers and worker representatives.
