Founded within the framework of F-XF4954 - Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), coming within the remit of AIT Library and sponsored by AIT Structural Engineering and Construction Programme, School of Civil Engineering.
Aims
Promote the use of ferrocement as a cheap versatile construction material, easily prepared in developing countries and as a suitable substitute for wood and steel in many applications; serve the needs of scientists and construction engineers and sustain research activity in developing countries; emphasize transfer of ferrocement technology to rural areas of developing countries.
