The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

2 Jan 1980, Lomé (Togo), as a unit of Coordination and Cooperation Organization for the Control of the Major Endemic Diseases (OCCGE). Originally referred to as Antenne nutritionnelle de l'OCCGE, complements Research Organization on African Alimentation and Nutrition (ORANA). Subsequently referred to as Centre de recherches alimentaires et nutritionnelles. No recent activity reported since 1995.

Aims

Collaborate with Member States in defining nutrition policy; specialize in the fields of alimentation in forested areas and related physio-pathology, in particular iodine deficiency and endemic goitre problems and their prevention.
