Aims

Promote private enterprise, individual initiative and the independence of enterprises run by their owners; defend the interests of independent business and the freedom of enterprise within the private economy; develop training and professional improvement; encourage in each country the creation of independent professional associations and interprofessional organizations; collect, formulate and express the opinions of member organizations concerning all questions of the international economy; represent the common interests of crafts and small and medium-sized independent enterprises in dealings with international bodies, both public and private; institute exchange of ideas, experience, information and documentation among affiliated associations and enlighten public opinion with respect to all problems common to independent enterprises.
