Name changed, 12 Apr 1979, to International School of Solidarité -- Ecole internationale de solidarité and as Werner Lamberz International Institute of Journalism, College of Solidarity -- Institut international de journalisme 'Werner Lamberz', Ecole de solidarité -- Internationales Institut für Journalistik 'Werner Lamberz', Schule der Solidarität -- Instituto Internacional de Periodismo 'Werner Lamberz', Escuela de la Solidaridad. Formerly affiliated with H-XB2325 - International Organization of Journalists (IOJ). Present name adopted Mar 1993.

Support journalists from the southern hemisphere in training and upgrading in journalistic skills; strengthen the international community of journalists in general.
