Name changed, 1958, to International Association of Youth Magistrates -- Association internationale des magistrats de la jeunesse (AIMJ). Previously also referred to in English as International Association of Juvenile and Family Court Magistrates (IAJFCM). Present name adopted at 10th World Congress, Montréal QC (Canada), 21 Jul 1978. Statutes adopted 1930, Brussels (Belgium); revised: 1963, 1966; 1978; 1992; 1998. Registered in accordance with Belgian law.
Promote research on international problems facing the operation of the courts and various laws relating to youth and family.
