Apr 1983, as the planning and executing organism of U-XE0602 - Latin American Chapter of IULA, the Latin American section of H-XB2736 - International Union of Local Authorities (IULA), which ceased to exist 2004.
Aims
Increase the motivation and strengthen the managerial, administrative and technical capacities of Latin American public officials and local governments, both elected and appointed; seek to enable them to perform their functions with greater efficiency and work in favour of the poorest groups of the cities.
