History

9 Mar 1990, Stuttgart (Germany FR), biennial 'Trim and Fitness' congresses having been held since 1969, Oslo (Norway). Original title: Trim and Fitness International Sport for All Association. Current title adopted, 1 Sep 2009. Office set up, 2005, Frankfurt-Main (Germany). As of end 2009, International Assembly of National Organizations of Sport (IANOS) merged into the organization.

Aims

Globally promote and facilitate access for every person to sport for all and physical activity; lobby internationally; provide and coordinate programmes and events; provide networking and experience transfer platforms.
