Aims
Carry out emergency relief operations in situations of war, crisis and famine to bring aid to populations in extreme difficulty, such as displaced persons or refugees who no longer have access to food; define and carry out small-scale development and rehabilitation programmes in primary health care, nutrition, water supply, agriculture, education and training, in order to enable them in the longer term to regain autonomy; develop disaster preparedness programmes in order to anticipate and forecast humanitarian crises.
