Inaugurated and constitution adopted, 25 Mar 1987, Ukai Dam (India). Previously referred to as Commonwealth Association for the Education of Adults (CAEA). Ceased to exist.
Seek to enhance enhance the competence and professional understanding of its members; improve the status of of adult education in all its aspects; link together practitioners in different parts of the Commonwealth; direct the resources of all forms of education for adults towards national goals of development.
