Founded to subsume activities of U-XE2462 - Committee of Dietetic Associations in the European Community (CADEC), set up 27 Apr 1957 and dissolved 1982.
Promote development of the dietetic profession; develop dietetics on a scientific and professional level in the common interest of member associations; facilitate communication between national dietetic associations and other organizations - professional, education and governmental; encourage a better nutrition situation for the population of Europe.
