Jun 1967, name changed to Institute of Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture (ITSA) – Institut tropického a subtropického zemedelstvi (ITSZ). 1991, became an independent institution under the University of Agriculture in Prague. 2003, present name adopted.
Train Czech and foreign experts at BSc, MSc and PhD level in: Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture; Sustainable Rural Development in the tropics and subtropics, Management of Wild Animals and their Breeding in the Tropics and Subtropics. Engage in scientific and research activity and project implementation in the above areas.
