The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).
20 Nov 1991, as GCC Advertising Association (GCC AA), by D-XD9187 - Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). 1st Constituent Committee held in Jan 1992. 2005, name changed to Advertisers Business Group (ABG). Previously referred to as GCC Advertisers Association. Registered in accordance with the laws of the State of Bahrain.
Further cooperation among the persons engaged in advertising business in GCC states; promote and enhance interest in advertising business, seeking to raise performance levels and establishing ethical and practical criteria among the parties involved in this business; create better awareness of the role of advertising in serving the economy and the community; contribute to the development of field studies and surveys associated with the advertising market; pay attention to training and instruction programmes for encouraging GCC nationals to be actively involved in advertising; cooperate with local, regional and international professional associations led by IAA.
