Founded 22-25 Aug 1955, Copenhagen (Denmark), at the third European Congress, the first having been organized, 1948, Paris (France) by the French association. Second Congress organized, 1951, London (UK). Original title: Federation of European Internal Editors Associations -- Fédération des associations européennes de journalistes d'entreprises -- Verband der Europäischen Arbeitsgemeinschaften von Werkschriftleitern. Subsequent title: Federation of European Internal Communications Associations (FEIEA). Current title adopted, 16 Jun 2015. Previously also referred to as Federation of European Industrial Editors Associations and in French as Fédération des associations européennes de la presse d'entreprise. Registered in accordance with Belgian law, 1973, and updated 2004.


Connect European internal communicators; speak with a European voice on internal communication issues at a pan-European level in dealing with the European Union and business, economic, academic and social organizations across Europe; provide a network of professional support for internal communication professionals whose responsibilities include communication strategy and planning, employee engagement and change management, as well as the management and operation of print-based, audio-visual or electronic communication channels; broaden members' knowledge of corporate communications subjects; develop and increase awareness of the profession.
