History
Replaced U-XE8617 - Liaison Committee between the Associations and the National Institutes of Town Planners in the Member Countries of the European Community. Founded on signing of International Agreement and Declaration. Statutes amended in 1988.
Aims
Enable free movement of town planners in member countries of the European Union, through mutual recognition of their qualifications and skills; represent and promote the town planning profession recognizing its specific characteristics, its ethics, its values and foundations in land management policy, among European institutions, national political institutions, economic and social powers and citizens.
