title:Associate Members

Associate Membership is an option for public and private entities to become involved in the work of the UIA and to regularly benefit from our activities and services. In response to differing needs, there are several categories of Associate Membership to choose from.

title:Active Members

The UIA is largely shaped by our Active Members who are encouraged to take an active role in what we do. In addition to promoting our work in their professional networks and fields, fields, the Active Members compose the General Assembly which meets annually and is the main controlling body of the UIA.

title:Associate Members

The UIA’s members and supporters are a varied set both of dedicated individuals and organizations with a keen interest in international cooperation, communication and encounters. They are united in the belief that a global civil society organised to promote international cooperation, peace, security and sustainability is for the benefit of all.

In 2025 we are offering a new opportunity! Join the UIA as an Organization Associate Member and take part in our Global Civil Society Database and educational programs.
