Founded 2012, Rome (Italy), during Congress of B-XB1927 - Fédération Internationale de Gynécologie et d'Obstétrique (FIGO), as its African arm. Registered in accordance with the law of Sudan, 2013.
Improve the sexual reproductive health and rights of women, neonates, children, adolescents and men in Africa; raise the status of women's health and enable their active participation to achieve their reproductive and sexual rights with access to efficient education and services throughout their life cycle; upgrade the practice of obstetrics and gynaecology; strengthen collaborative partnerships and networks that promote SRHR activities in the African Continent.
