Created as result of the merger of H-XA1752 - International Council for Science (ICSU) and H-XA2466 - International Social Science Council (ISSC). Statutes and Rules of Procedure approved by joint meeting of ICSU and ISSC members, Oct 2017, Taipei (Taiwan).

Advance science as a global public good; act as the global voice for science.
