History
Launched by agricultural and rural advisory services from 20 European countries. Foundation prepared in a workshop 25-26 Feb 2013, Wroclaw (Poland), initiated and organized by the German extensionists' network IALB and inspired by the EU projects RENE and ProAkis. Representatives of European rural advisory institutions were invited to participate in the founding process and a second preparatory meeting in Dublin (Ireland). Affiliated to: F-XJ7916 - Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS).
Aims
Improve quality, effectiveness and efficiency of agricultural and rural advisors' work aimed at supporting farming families, farmers local groups, agricultural organizations and individuals involved in agricultural and rural development and addressing the current and emerging problems (economic, environmental and social).
