History
Founded 1950, Rome (Italy), as a sub-Secretariat of F-XB3085 - Pax Romana, International Catholic Movement for Intellectual and Cultural Affairs (ICMICA). Subsequently became a Secretariat and finally an independent federation. Statutes officially adopted 1962. New statutes registered in accordance with Belgian law, Dec 1998.
Aims
Live the Christian faith in practising the pharmaceutical profession; apprehend and study problems arising from this experience; help shape the growth and future of pharmacy; witness and, through personal initiative, cultivate service to the sick; stimulate international friendship and understanding; be open to exchange and solidarity with the Third World and Eastern Europe.
