1969, as Jesus to the Communist World, by Rev Richard Wurmbrand. Subsequently, name changed to Christian Missions to the Communist World International or Christian Missions to the Communist World (CMCW). Present name adopted 1992.
Minister to persecuted Christians in communist, Islamic and other countries closed to the gospel of Christ and in countries emerging from communism, by providing Bibles and Christian literature and making evangelical broadcasts in their own languages; give relief to families of Christian martyrs in these countries; bring non-Christians in the free world to Christ; educate Christians in the West about atrocities committed against Christians in communist, Islamic and other countries opposed to the gospel of Christ.
