Founded during 3rd Congress of the Apostolate of Laics, a study Commission having been set up following the Eucharistic Congress 1960, Munich (Germany FR).

New Statutes adopted by Extraordinary General Assembly, 28 Sep 1992, Venice (Italy).

Aims

Participate in affirmation and diffusion of Evangelical education and freedom of education, respecting different religious convictions; promote creation of world alumni congregations; serve associate organizations and encourage relationships based on understanding, mutual support and spiritual values; stimulate global commitment and cooperation of alumni, safeguarding dignity and service of the community without distinction, according to the principles of Christian education.
