10 Feb 1993, Edinburgh (UK), as Scottish European Aid (SEA), when incorporated under UK law. 'SEA Belgium ' set up 3 Aug 1994, registered in accordance with Belgian law, 15 Dec 1994. Listed title adopted when merged with Mercy Corps Europe, Apr 1996, within the framework of G-XG2140 - Mercy Corps International (MCI). Offices in: Brussels (Belgium), Bosnia (4), Croatia and Romania. Currently referred to as 'Mercy Corps Scotland'.
Succour the needy and relieve poverty, notably by providing training, funds and material and technical assistance for rehabilitation and consolidation of social infrastructure, primarily - although not exclusively - in deprived areas of Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia.
