The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

1975, Washington DC (USA), as Centre for Population Activities. Merged into Plan International USA, Nov 2012.

Aims

Equip and mobilize women to achieve equality so as to build stronger families, communities and societies; ensure that women control more resources and have a voice in decision-making by building women leaders, supporting women's organizations and helping women become mobilized.
