Founded 1950, Paris (France), as International Bureau of Chambers of Commerce (IBCC) - Bureau international des chambres de commerce (BICC), to function within B-XB1490 - International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), as a liaison bureau for chambers of commerce in all parts of the world. Current name adopted 1 Jun 2001.
Unite the worldwide network of chambers of commerce and industry; facilitate exchange of best practice and development of new global products and services for chambers; foster international partnerships between chambers and other stakeholders to help local businesses grow; administer global trade service chains by chambers.
