Tackles the following issues: sexual abuse and exploitation of women by military personnel for their 'rest and recreation' in sex trips set up near military bases or along the route of the Rapid Deployment Forces; violence against women and children, and prostitution as a violation of human rights; militarism as a patriarchal ideology and as a system that also victimizes the enlisted men; sexism, racism and classism; disarmament and development linked with the abolition of military base-related prostitution.
