Group national associations of travel agents of Latin America; unify all travel agencies within their own national associations; encourage activities of national associations and protect their members' professional interests; improve facilities and working conditions; promote tourism exchanges; assist in improving hotels, restaurants, means of transport, facilitation of customs and immigration requirements, tourist attractions and native arts and crafts, and the teaching of tourism; establish rules of professional ethics; cooperate with regional and international tourist organizations.
