Feb 1986, Amman (Jordan). Also referred to as: Arab Federation for Drug Industries and Medical Appliances; Arab Federation for Producers of Drugs and Medical Appliances; Arab Union of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Medical Appliance Manufacturers.
Aims
Develop the Arab pharmaceutical industry so that high quality drugs are available at reasonable cost; establish cooperation among Arab pharmaceutical manufacturing companies; work towards establishing an Arab pharmaceutical common market; cooperate with international bodies in matters related to the pharmaceutical industry.
