Create and maintain solidarity and assistance among past students of European Schools in the pursuit of their studies and search for employment, so they may profit from their education in the context of a United Europe; promote the particular model of the European School and defend its image; cooperate with the authorities and organs of the European Schools so as to contribute to harmonization of education and training programmes with the needs of the Europe of the future; maintain close contact with European Community and national authorities, in particular ministers of education, and with national associations of former pupils; contribute to European integration while respecting the cultural and linguistic identity of its components.
