Previously also referred to in English as International Federation of Travel Journalists and Writers. By-laws adopted 30 No 2006, Karlovy Vary (Czech Rep). Registered in accordance with Czech law.
Promote expansion of tourism worldwide as a powerful reconciliation factor between peoples; defend the right of all people to travel vacations; conserve human, natural, cultural and historical resources with concern over their ecology; preserve and popularize monuments; disseminate information about nations and their history, habits, traditions and culture; develop new forms of tourism and new destinations to provide holidays at all social levels; encourage tourism organizations worldwide and the international exchange of experiences.
