Works with government agencies and national and local NGOs in: carrying out investigations in target countries to document live reef fish collection locations, species composition and volume, capture methods and other relevant aspects of the trade; systematically assessing government policies, laws and institutional capacity. Uses the information so gained as a basis for dialogue with government agencies and other stakeholders to develop an action plan.
