The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History
Established by E-XE2442 - European Commission (EC) and the Energy Ministers of the 11 Baltic Sea Region countries. Working body of D-XD4344 - Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS). Revised format since Mar 2015, since when no activities have been planned.
Aims
Serve as a cooperation forum between energy authorities of Baltic Sea Region countries and the European Commission for development of framework conditions towards effective, economically and environmentally sound and more integrated energy systems.
