Name changed to Association of the Industry of Juices and Nectars from Fruits and Vegetables of the European Economic Community – Association de l'industrie des jus et nectars de fruits et de légumes de la Communauté économique européenne (AIJN) and new statutes adopted 7 May 1987, Amsterdam (Netherlands). Name changed to Association of the Industry of Juices and Nectars from Fruits and Vegetables of the European Union – Association de l'industrie des jus et nectars de fruits et de légumes de l'Union européenne, 1994. Has also been referred to as European Association of Fruit Juice Industries. Registered in accordance with Belgian law. EU Transparency Register: 410052929385-59.
Represent the fruit juice industry in the European Union, from fruit processors to packers of consumer products; work for the best possible political, regulatory and economic framework at EU level in order to add value and promote the growth of the fruit juice industry.
