10 Aug 1956, as Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS). Subsequently changed title to Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (HIDA), on merger with U-XG7837 - Japan Overseas Development Corporation (JODC), Mar 2012. Current title adopted 1 Jul 2017.
Contribute to the mutual economic development and friendly relations between Japan and overseas countries through implementing projects aimed at promoting the internationalization of industries and trade, as well as encouraging investment activities and international economic cooperation.
