1978, Bellagio (Italy), as a collaborative programme between International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) and several African universities.
Provide research training for postgraduate scholars from tropical developing countries, with particular attention to Africa and specializing in arthropod science, a multidisciplinary field, including entomology, ecology, behavioural and chemical ecology, molecular biology and biochemistry, biotechnology and social sciences.Available with paid subscription only.
Provides research training leading to PhD or MSc degrees. PhD is conducted at ICIPE; the MSc programme is organized at sub-regional levels - Southern Africa; West Africa; Eastern and North-Eastern Africa. It is hosted by a selected Participating University in each sub-region, under postgraduate regulations of that university.
