Established 26 Mar 1956, Moscow (USSR), by Convention signed by representatives of 11 governments. Also referred to as Dubna. Aims
Ensure joint theoretical and experimental research in peaceful uses of nuclear physics by scientists of Member States; secure exchange of experience and achievements; maintain contacts with national and international scientific institutions and other organizations for promoting the development of nuclear physics and finding new possibilities for peaceful use of atomic energy.
