18 Nov 1986, Brussels (Belgium), when statutes were adopted, as a consultative body to the European Community. Original title: European Community of Cooks – Communauté Européenne des Cuisiniers (EURO-TOQUES) – Comunidad Europea de Cocineros – Europäische Gemeinschaft der Köche – Comunità Europea dei Cuochi – Comunidade Européia dos Cozinheiros – Europese Gemeenschap der Koks – Kokke i de Europaeiske Faellesskaber – Evropaiki Kinotita Magiron. Also referred to by French initials CEC and as Toques d'Or International. Registered in accordance with Belgian law.

Aims

Support traditional artisan producers; promote quality products; preserve culinary traditions at world level; ensure responsible handling of food by affiliated certified restaurants and cooks.
