Founded by 11th General Assembly of H-XA1752 - International Council for Science (ICSU). Following the merger of ICSU with ISSC, CODATA is currently an Interdisciplinary Committee of the A-XM6956 - International Science Council (ISC). Constitution (statutes & by-laws) updated 2020.
Strengthen international science for the benefit of society by promoting improved scientific and technical data management and use.
