The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

Aims

Improve and increase the capacity and quality of health promotion in Europe; contribute to significant improvements in the health of the European public by helping to develop appropriate policies at all levels that lead to effective outcomes.

Exchanges information and best practice on health and related issues; organizes seminars. Projects on: inequalities in health; health impact assessments; integrated approaches on health determinants. Analyses policies and health promotion methods directed at socio-economically disadvantaged groups. Explores possibilities of joint action to reduce socio-economic differences in health status. Coordinates development of multilingual thesaurus.
