The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History
1976, as an affiliated institution of C-XC4129 - Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Also referred to as International Arab-Islamic Schools Federation. No activities reported for several years since 2015.
Aims
Spread and propagate Islamic culture and the teaching of Arabic, the language of the Holy Quran, through strengthening schools and cultural centres; foster and sponsor cultural educational Islamic institutes of international character, within or outside the Muslim world; establish schools or institutes with the same intention; provide such institutes with technical and administrative plans, studies, expertise and essential financial assistance; unify basic curricula of member schools, with a main subject being the Arabic language.
