Aug 1993, by International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS), as its educational and humanitarian arm. Registered in accordance with Dutch law.


Conduct, supervise or promote investigations, studies and medical or surgical research for treatment or prevention of congenital or acquired deformities, whether due to trauma, disease or aging; promote and harmonize high standards of training in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery.

Organizes training and interchange of knowledge; grants/confers prizes; disseminates medical and health information; sponsors and promotes meetings, lectures, seminars and symposia. Special committees study current problems in plastic surgery, including relationship with societies involved in mastology and genito-urinary reconstructive surgery. Special Committees:
