2004. Ceased to exist, 2012, on merger with H-XM0058 - International Association of Circumpolar Health Publishers (IACHP) to become D-XJ7457 - Circumpolar Health Research Network (CirchNet).
Aims
Conduct, sponsor and promote research programmes and projects investigating the patterns, determinants and impact of health conditions among circumpolar peoples and the strategies for improving their health; support research training at all levels and increase capacity for circumpolar health research in communities, service delivery agencies and higher educational institutions; facilitate exchange, communication and dissemination of research data; strengthen the health information system in the circumpolar region.
